Putnam Pond Campground
While in the Adirondacks we stayed at Putnam Pond Campground in the Pharaoh Lakes Wilderness. It was overcast while we were there which really made the fall leaves pop! There were a ton of picnic benches all around the pond and we used them to make food and enjoy the view. The campground also had bathrooms, showers, mess stations, a boat launch (with canoes) and tons of campgrounds surrounding the water. It was such a peaceful little area, especially because we were one of two families at the campgrounds... we actually couldn't believe how empty it was. If you're ever heading up into the Adirondacks I highly recommend checking out this area. There are tons of hiking trails and the area is filled with lots of lakes, ponds, streams and rivers!
