Yesterday was my birthday and I decided I'd treat myself to a hike that's been on my bucket list for awhile (I had an Oregon/Washington Bucket List before ever moving out here). Lower Lewis Falls is two hours away from Portland tucked into Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Washington.
My birthday was yesterday and I thought it would be fun thing to do 26 things I've learned in 26 years stream-of-consciousness type thing. This isn't meant to be super deep, just easy to read and to-the-point. Enjoy!
Cannon Beach has been at the top of our list of places to check out in Oregon and we knew we had to go as soon as possible. We checked the weather and saw that at 3:00pm it was already a crisp 65 degrees so we grabbed some extra sweaters and thick socks and began our hour and a half drive out to Cannon Beach.
Our first hike in Oregon has been hiked! A follower of the blog recommended Silver Falls State Park for it's 10 Waterfall Hike and it was such a great hike! We started early in the morning and we're really glad we did because by the time we got back to the parking lot it was so full and there were people everywhere.
