I’ve been dying to run this ridge and since Paige and I both had a Friday morning open we decided to check it out. I read a bunch of reviews about the road washing out at the bottom of the trail, so I got on Google maps and figured out how to drop in via Forest Service Roads from the top of the ridge. We easily found the trail and had a great time running the ridge and enjoying the views. We were the only ones up there too, which was nice. We didn’t run all the way down to the lake because we were aiming to just do 5 miles round trip and it was warming up fast that day. Overall it was a gorgeous trail with gorgeous views and I highly recommend this hike!
