Goodbye Ski Season

Due to COVID-19, Mount Hood Meadows announced in March that they would be closing the mountain for the season. I was crushed. Ski season is one of my favorite seasons since moving to Oregon and I’ve been working on getting better and better over the last 1.5 years. But, we were lucky and I was able to fly out both my brother and my sister on two different occasions and spent some time with them on the mountain, not to mention countless days with friends and Michael even hit the slopes a few days too.

This year I decided to get a 10-pass for the mountain, which ended up being a great choice when everything was said and done. I also decided to demo skis from Next Adventure in downtown Portland and I highly recommend doing the same!! I saved a TON of money throughout the season by not having to rent skis (I own my own boots, poles, helmet, etc.).
