A few weekends ago, my friend Ashely and I headed out to Mount Hood in an attempt to find some fall foliage. We were successful on our hike to Elk Meadows and saw all the colors of the rainbow along the way. The forecast for the day was rainy but as we drove around the east side of the mountain the rain gave way to patches of bright blue sky and it ended up being a stunning fall day! This hike was pretty easy with a little bit of elevation gain all at once before you hit the meadow, otherwise it’s a very mellow hike.
