Exploring Ecola State Park
Ecola State Park might be one of my favorite spaces I’ve visited so far in Oregon. With the expansive coast and views of the mountains running into the beaches it’s hard to beat. It’s a $5 entrance fee to get into the park. Once you’re in the park I recommend hiking down to Crescent Beach at low tide to check out the tide pools and lay in the sun (if the suns out). There’s also a small waterfall that flows down onto the beach that’s best during the spring. Another option is to hike to Indian beach to the north of the main parking lot. Again, low tide is the best so you can check out some of the tide pools!
