Takakkaw Falls is located in Yoho National Park and at 1,250 feet tall, it is impressive as it is beautiful. To go to the falls is extremely easy. Simply park in the parking lot and you can already see it! Follow the well paved trail, cross the footbridge and continue along the trail to the base of the falls. You can easily go down to the river under the falls or continue climbing up the steep hill beside the falls if you want to get really close. The other cool thing about this waterfall is when you’re driving into the area you can see it from a few miles away and as you drive closer and closer it gets bigger and bigger.
