While we were in Bryson City for our fly fishing trip we stayed in a cozy cabin that sat above the town with a view of the mountains. I loved this little AirBnb so much! It's a studio style cabin with one bathroom and a kitchenette. We cooked dinner every night and the cabin had pots, pans, cutting boards, knives, a fridge, a stovetop and oven. Additionally there is an old-style oven/grill outside that was fun for cooking and there's also a charcoal grill. The deck outside has a wrap around bench for seating as well as a tall table with an umbrella and chairs, and two sets of other tables with chairs. The view is wonderful and while we were laying in bed we could see the mountains out the giant window. We walked to Nantahala Brewing Company for some beers after fishing one day and it took us about 10 minutes. Every morning we drove to the Mountain Perks Coffee Shop (3 minutes tops) to get some coffee and breakfast sandwiches. We also stopped into Tuckasegee Fly Shop and the guys in there helped us pick out some flies for the different rivers we were planning to fish. Also our host was so gracious and emailed us a few days before our trip to let us know the cabin was vacant and we could come down a day early if we wanted. We did and it made our trip so much better to have an extra whole day! We definitely plan to go back to the Smokies again for more hiking and fly fishing and when we do we will definitely be staying in these cabins again!
